Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has said that he will not be interested in becoming part of a team that has Real Madrid Pepe as a player.
Real Madrid defender Pepe was caught stamping deliberately on Lionel Messi during the recent 2-1 defeat they suffered at the hands of Barcelona in the Copa Del Rey.
Pepe has been subjected to a number of disciplinary procedures in the recent matches between Barcelona, which has made Barcelona defender Gerard Pique feel that it is not sensible to have a player like Pepe in the dressing room.
Even though Pepe was punished with a yellow card immediately after the incident, it is thought that the card was not directly linked to the incident and to a previous foul.

FC Barcelona and Spanish international defender Gerard Pique has reasserted that star striker Lionel Messi is the only player in the world at the moment that deserves the FIFA Ballon D’Or.
The little Argentine was up against Barcelona teammate Xavi Hernandez and eternal rival Cristiano Ronaldo for the biggest individual award in the world of football and Pique believes that the level Messi is playing at right now cannot be compared.

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has said that he knew in hindsight that Barcelona were capable of beating Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Barcelona have an excellent record against their arch rivals in recent seasons and they only extended this record in the recent 3-1 victory over José Mourinho’s side. Even though Real Madrid managed to score after only 23 seconds – the fastest goal in this fixture – Barcelona regained their composure to come back into the match through Lionel Messi. They also took the lead and extended it even more through the excellent play by Cesc Fabregas and Xavi.
Even though it is quite easy for any player to say that they were confident of beating the opponents, Gerard Pique has said that Barcelona’s recent record against Real Madrid was one of the reasons for him to believe that they are capable of beating Real Madrid.
