PIQUE WANTS REPEAT OF 2009

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has said that his team can repeat the success of 2009 by winning many trophies believes.

That season, Barcelona emerged champions of La Liga finishing nine points ahead of runners-up Real Madrid, won the Copa del Rey with a 4-1 victory over Athletic Bilbao in the final, and came out on top in the UEFA Champions League final, winning 2-0 against Manchester United.

With Barca leading La Liga at present, and with a Copa del Rey final and Champions League semi-final clash lined up against Real, Pique is confident his side can go all the way and repeat 2009’s monumental success.
