BE HAPPY

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has hit out to the players that are ‘’unhappy’’ in the Catalan club as he specifically mentioned Tello and Montoya not going through the best of times and having limited playing time with the club.

Pique says ”I understand Tello and Montoya, but this is Barca and we all fight for our starting place. The exit door is always open if you aren’t happy.”

Despite suffering from 2 consecutive matches, Pique says that the team is upbeat and not focusing on the past.
”We’re playing better with each game, so we should feel confident.”

Barcelona’s 1st loss occurred during their Champions League match against Ajax as the came behind 2-1 although that defeat certainly was not that important as the Spanish club has already qualified into the next stages of the tournament despite losing.

The next defeat certainly was much disappointing and surprising as Athletic Bilbao overcame the Spanish champions with a 2nd half strike that gave them the victory. Some people are even saying that Barcelona are going through a crisis after losing those 2 matches and the list of injured players seems to not end but their most significant absence is hands down Lionel Messi as they have in both of the matches that he was unavailable to play after picking up a thigh injury.

Dani Alves, Victor Valdes, and Jordi Alba are the other noticeable players suffering from injuries.

Pique is confident the Catalan giants will respond quickly to their defeats, though.

“The second defeat was very different to the one in Amsterdam,” he said. “Everyone has an opinion, but at San Mames we only conceded the one attempt on goal, which ended up in the net.

“There was a refereeing decision that hurt us. Everything has been mixed in with Ajax. We are not so bad. The sensations from Bilbao were very good.
